Moneris Wallet

Moneris is a 100% open-source, non-custodial digital wallet. This documentation outlines the terms of use, risk disclosures, and liability limits for any individual using the Moneris software or website.

By using Moneris, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted all terms in this document. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.

01 — DEFINITIONS

Term	Description
Moneris	The open-source wallet software and related services.
Non-Custodial	A wallet model where only the user holds the private keys.
Seed Phrase	A 12 or 24-word secret phrase used to recover the wallet.
Tempo	The initial blockchain network integrated with Moneris (@tempo).

02 — TERMS OF USE

2.1 Scope of Service

Moneris is a tool for managing crypto assets and interacting with decentralized apps. It does not provide financial advice.

2.2 License

Distributed under the MIT License. You may freely use, copy, and modify the source code, but the original copyright notice must be preserved.

05 — RISK DISCLOSURE

Critical Warning: Crypto assets involve high risk. You may lose the entire value of your holdings. Only trade with amounts you can afford to lose.

5.2 Technology Risks

Software bugs may lead to unexpected asset loss.
Network outages or forks may delay or fail transactions.
Loss of seed phrase results in permanent loss of access.

10 — PRIVACY

Moneris cannot access your financial data. Private keys and seed phrases never leave your device.
